Paula Cademartori

Founder and Creative Director

After growing up in Brazil, where she earned a degree in Industrial Design, Paula Cademartori moved to Italy in 2005 to reconnect with her family’s native country and pursue further education in Milan.

She first gained a master’s degree in Fashion Accessories at the Istituto Marangoni, followed by a managing certificate at SDA Bocconi and by an intensive working experience in Versace’s style office.

In 2009 Paula participated in  the Vogue Talents competition appearing among the 140 emerging talents selected by Vogue Italia; an achievement that encouraged her to go independent and launch her eponymous luxury brand in 2010, recognizable for the iconic metal buckle applied as a distinguishing detail on every model.

In 2011, her participation in the Vogue Italia Who is on next? contest consecrated the Italian-Brazilian designer as one of the most promising names on the international fashion scene, igniting a remarkable growth that saw the label increase its presence in the most prestigious multibrand retailers and e-commerce platforms in the world.

In the same year, Paula expanded her creative horizons by completing the seasonal collections with a footwear line and an extensive range of small leather goods.

Paula’s multiple inspirations, from art to photography to architecture, give shape to a unique vision of elegance and femininity, in which timeless design is enhanced with exquisite leathers, bright colors and one-of-a-kind decorations that stand out as the quintessence of Italian craftsmanship.

After founding and running the business on her own, constantly motivated by her tireless passion and dedication, in 2016 Paula signed a strategic partnership with Renzo Rosso, which led the brand to be incorporated in the OTB Group’s portfolio to further strengthen its development and global expansion.

“When I design I always think about the intrinsic value of a piece of art, which stands the test of time to become an emblem of endless beauty and refinement”.
