In 2025, Paula Cademartori curated for Scarosso and Toiletpaper the launch of the unisex capsule collection ToiletScarossoPaper during Milan Design Week. Developed together with Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, the project reinterpreted Scarosso's penny loafer through Toiletpaper’s surreal and irreverent visual language, combining Italian craftsmanship with bold graphic experimentation.

The line featured four distinctive designs inspired by Toiletpaper’s iconic imagery, including multicoloured snakes, golden trumpets, red lips and floral motifs applied to glossy and matte leather finishes. Conceived without seasonality and designed as a genderless project, the items transformed a traditional menswear silhouette into an expressive statement piece. Vivid interiors, contrasting colour details and specially designed packaging further amplified the playful and unconventional identity of the collaboration.

“I wanted to inject a touch of joy and spontaneity into an everyday silhouette, reinventing one of Scarosso signature bestsellers with a vibrant, energetic aesthetic. The result is a wearable statement piece that combines personality, comfort and style for daily life.”

ToiletScarossoPaper was unveiled during an exclusive event hosted at Casa Toiletpaper in Milan, where the immersive installation merged fashion, art and design into a theatrical and highly visual experience. Surrounded by the studio’s iconic wallpapers and surreal environments, guests from the worlds of fashion, contemporary art and design celebrated a project that blurred the boundaries between craftsmanship and visual culture. The collaboration reinforced Paula Cademartori’s multidisciplinary approach, highlighting her ability to bridge luxury design, contemporary aesthetics and experimental storytelling.
