Launched in July 2020 in collaboration with the London-Milan based company Supernovas, Volta was inspired by geometric forms and modular compositions, resulting in a collection of seven collectible tableware and stationery pieces designed to bring bold shapes and vibrant colors into domestic and working spaces.

“The collection was born from shapes that I had in mind. I put all of them together and ‘magically’ they transformed into new forms and textures. They worked both as functional products and stand out pieces.”

While Muito Grande and Grande were conceived as sculptural decorative pieces that could also be used as vases, Maior and Menor featured compact compartments designed to hold personal or office essentials such as pens, clips, crayons, and notes. Médio functioned as a versatile storage box for everyday objects, from work tools and cables to children’s toys, while Raso served as a tray for small essentials including keys, wallets, and earphones. Completing the collection, Pinça reinterpreted the traditional clip through a playful and contemporary design approach. Each model was available in both monochromatic finishes and mixed color combinations, creating a palette of twelve different variations.

Volta reflected Paula Cademartori’s industrial design background and her interest in creating objects that combine aesthetics, functionality, and emotional connection. As her first fully sustainable design project, it transformed plastic waste into multifunctional objects through 3D-printing technology, using 100% recycled and recyclable PETG plastic within a circular and innovative production process.
